Checkpoint Systems, Inc. is engaged in shrink management, merchandise visibility and apparel labeling solutions. The Company provides solutions to brand, track and secure goods for retailers, apparel manufacturers and consumer product manufacturers worldwide. The Company operates through three segments: Shrink Management Solutions, Apparel Labeling Solutions (ALS) and Retail Merchandising Solutions. Shrink Management Solutions includes the operations of the Company?s EAS labels and library business. Apparel Labeling Solutions, formerly Check-Net, includes tag and label solutions sold to apparel manufacturers and retailers. Its apparel labeling services together with its EAS and radio frequency identification (RFID) capabilities provide a combination of apparel branding and identification with loss prevention and supply chain visibility. In August 2009, the Company acquired Brilliant Label Manufacturing Ltd.
